Anybody want to change their ffxi hairstyle/face/race/sex ???

Ok i been in ffxi for 4-5 years now before english ffxi is even out.
so i wish i could at least get a new hairstyle so i can refresh myself.
Maybe SE will make a hairstylist npc and give us a haircut ?

damn i agree with u ^^
i've been playing for like 6 months but cuz at the beginig i was so exited... i just create my char as fast as i could to start playing, but now i dont like the way my Small Elvaan look (hair style and height) so i should like to change it cuz i dont wanna start all over again...
so prolly SE could do us a favor and put a NPC that can change our appearance in exchange of gil or do a quest that allow us to change it i think. ^^

I think this thread already existed a while back. I wish I could change my hairstyle. I have a Mithra with Hairstyle 6B, which is the famous white one.. but in red. Now I wish I chose the white one 5 years ago, hehe. A name change would be nice too, but that's appearantly never legally going to happen.

Edit: Unless you take the risk and use the Character Restore service.

Edit: For PC and/or Windower users there's alternative ways to do it.

I agree as well, I'd mainly like to change my race...I'm an Elvaan, which is just about everywhere, and so that's a little annoying, although Taru's are everywhere too, but I just want to be one. I like melee jobs for the most part, and although Taru melee is harder, it seems like it'd be more fun, and Taru's have better animation anyway.

I took a fair bit of time and consideration in choosing my characters' appearances, so I'm pretty happy with them on the whole. It would be nice if minor hairstyle changes could be made on the fly for some faces, though; e.g. characters with braided hair or ponytails etc. being able to untie their hair, or being able to tie it in a different way (within reason).

As for trying different races, this is one reason I have as many characters as I do. As yet I've only made a large investment in two characters, with Nya not having a subjob yet, but eventually I plan on working on her as a full character (DRG planned main). I also level my mules from time to time; my Bastok mule may eventually end up becoming a Jeuno or Al Zahbi mule once I get her to about RDM20.
