Account key issue....

Hey guys im currently on a buddy key trial given to me from someone is the US and i live in the UK. Now ive gotten to lvl 20 and lvl 10 monk subclass and im loving the game and want to buy it from a retailler. Here is the problem im having i want to know if you can use a European retail key on the US account from my buddy key...

Please help i need to find this out fast as im going out tomorrow to buy it if i can use the key on the US account ... if not im stuck as of what to do as i dont have the kind of money to import a copy.... ack this sucks..... thanks guys.

I think you can, Zenick. Otherwise, just try it, the worst case is you have to start over, and as of yet that isn't that very bad yet. I hope someone can confirm what I said.

I don't think you can. Trial account works just like normal account from what I understand. So I think you'll need US retail keys.

Might as well try it. If it doesnt work just start again. Your not far into the game and it wont hold you back more than 4-5days.

You can still return to the server you are on with your current character when you create a new one, if that is whats needed.

ICR Casey M: The only way to continue using your current account is to purchase the US version of the software. Other than that you would have to purchase UK version of software.

ICR Casey M: Correct, you can't use the US buddy key with UK software.

make a note of your friends and delete the character then just remake on the same server, all you got to do is /befriend them again

on and level up! good luck

as you are in the uk I got my copy of the game from "Game" it was 14,99 and had ROZ and COP.

hehe im seriously considering just buying a cd key from ebay for the us version with all 3 expansions... if not i saw the vanadiel 2007 edition the otherday for 17.99 in game with all 3 expansions

I've done that before. I just had the person email me the CD key and throw away the box.

yeh its a shame coz id like the box but i mean if it saves me 4-5 days grinding.... screw the box XD

Make sure to keep your CD's in a safe place though, in case you need to re-install them!

yeh and old friend of mine gave me his cd's with the first 2 expansions on aswell so ill keep them safe... ill just have to download the treasures of aht urgahn expansion thru play online... is that possible ?
