As for the drop rate, "We can't tell you exactly, but within 10 tries you should have a 40% chance at one.

Now that's rather confusing. Is that supposed to mean that you have to have 10 successful attempts put together to have a 40% chance (i.e. each success is 4% chance)? Or does it mean that the drop rate averages out to around 40%, but you'll only observe that drop rate over a larger number of successful attempts?

It means, like for anything else that involves a random variable in this game, that it will be a cold day in hell before it actually drops.

OMG there's so many other goodies in that Q&A...


BLM just got a lot meaner now in end game activities. Have a COR use Wizard's Roll (BLM is Wizard right?) and then cycle in a BLU for AoE Memento Mori! That's a crap tonne of +MAB... Memento Mori alone is +20 I believe?
