Character restoration by phone is true? Need clearification/confirmation.

I heard many people said that, i have a character deleted by the 3 month inactive content ID and i just missed the restoration from new expansion awhile ago knowing my character is restorable.

I just want to confirm from people actually done this before or know someone for real that did it. Since calling POL will be costly and restoration will also charge a fee, i hope to clearify before paying over 80+ bucks.

Also, is account transfer available as well ? because i saw there is some type of "world transfer account 25$" on news at mysterytour

World transfers were announced recently, expected in June/July.

MT is poorly translated. They likely mean "25$ to transfer a content ID", or a single character, transfering an entire account would be messy.

Your character is hardly ever deleted unless you delete it, in which case, that's your fault.

I have a very similar situation as wrongfeifong. A couple months ago I battled with customer service via e-mail and their live chat about restoring a character that I had only canceled the content ID of, and they said I only had hopes of restoring him through a Return to Vana'diel Campaign... If calling does work, that would be great . So I guess I have the same question as wrong-- has anyone had success with calling?

email and live chat sucks ass compared to the actual phone support. And phone support is meh.

Honestly, I left for 6 months, and I didn't even have to call, just reenable the content ID and off I went.

The character upkeep changed from 3 month to 12 month right after COP released about 2-3 months.

That is why your character was still in. Unlike us, our character were removed as soon the 3 month is up. I have all the ID on playonline (as i am playing a whole new account now) i check my old content ID and i couldn't find any character nor even the history of payment and content ID.
