How Many Do You Get Through?

Just a quick question which entered my head, and I'm interested or curious to know.

What is the maximum number of levels you can, or have got through on one job, in 1 pt for each and everytime you join one?
Mine has only been 2 at the most. Is that roughly the average for everyone when they level in a pt?

It really depends on the lvl range, in my case I think 4 or 5 lvls have been the max I've gotten from a really good party in Qufim-Jungle a really long time ago, it was a whole sunday if I recall correctly.

I know I've gotten like 10 lvls in one day soloing as a DRK and stuff like that but it was 1-10 so it isn't much of a surprise.

Holy mother of the moogles, how did you manage to do that? And more importantly what were the consecuences of remaining seated for such a freaking long time? o.O

I generally level lower jobs with friends on a weekend, and our "party" maybe only two people, sometimes a full party, but we've gone from 10 to 37 in an afternoon together.

As far as normal pickup parties, I went from just into 66 to 1tnl to 71 in one party. Granted that I was the only original member really, but I only went back to town to get sanction again. That was a long weekend @.@

After two attepts at Maat and winning the second time, I went from 71 to 75 in a day.

For typical parties I might join, I'll usually get 2 to 3 levels before they disband. I generally don't like to rebuild parties when members leave, so I usually just disband and seek to get an invite.

Wow, that's about 100k exp.
Even if you get 5k per hour average, it takes 20 hours.
What about the time to get new equipments and breaks...
I can't even stay up for that long.

Wow, this one's even more amazing.
130k exp in one afternoon.
If it's 6 hours, then you got about 22k per hour exp.
Must've gotten 30k per hour considering the time to move camp and stuff...

I was leveling up my taru warrior. I 2 box my gf's blm to PL myself.
With me, was my LS mates. Really decent players. Can remember exactly what their jobs were, but 1 of them was a BRD. I think that's a big big part for fast exp... +attack +accurasy songs + many DD = win.

My war was using 1h axe, was the main puller, was the main tank. And I also control my gf's char as main healer and kill link.
With a Brd, we were getting even over 12k/hour. All the way from 10-14 in the dunes, 14-18 in Korroloka, 18-23 in Qufim, 23-28 in Yutanga.

Yoator gets a little slower because we got hit by the RMT armies. But still. We got to 32 in 1 PT.

You know how concentrate those HNM people are

Wow, over 12k/hour!
I got that much of good exp/hr only twice in my ffxi life and I couldn't handle more than 3 hours...
You must've been so tired doing that plus controling BLM to PL also.

Yes, some HNM people are so good and so crazy.
I know some people who would be online doing something for over 30 hours...
I've never stayed up longer than 30 hours in my life

Well one afternoon to me in FFXI is about day or two. >.>;;

I'm really only on for long periods of time on the weekends, and I'm usually on for 36 hours or more straight. Soloing my blm from 41 where I left it months ago, I got it to 65 (almost 66) in about a week and a half, on top of LS events and such.

Definitely way way too much. I can't even stay focused on something I like for more than 10 hours straight, let alone something like grinding XP.

The best I've ever done was two levels from 64-66 on BLM or something like that in one session of a couple of hours.

my best was probably leveling for some godawfullong amount of time on WAR from 10 to 45, but after that I hit a wall. Not in terms of myself, I could've leveled past that, but parties started sucking. I mean, really, really, can-barely-get-1.5k/hr sucking.
