  • Quesiton about my 360 version.

I bought the 360 version, being an origional PC release player, I really liked the 360 version. Dont know why, just do. Anyway, everytime I boot up, it tells me to please register rise of the ziliart, but the problem is Im not sure how, or if ive even installed it 9and all the other expansions). Can anyone help me out with this?

Oh and also, my new lvl 9 RDM Mithra in Windurst is about to hit lvl 10 tonight, where should I throw up my party signal? Not sure where to go after sarutabaruta (im used to the dunes area)

I'd recommend going to Konschtat, and playing with the smaller mobs in the northern half near the Valkurm Dunes zone line. Stuff like the saplings & bees. They're pretty easy to take (not sure about without a subjob, but as a RDM you should be able to manage), but I'd recommend picking up some cookies (Ginger Cookies can be bought cheaply at the Conquest circus) to reduce downtime. This way you can solo while waiting for a party, and you're within the same region as Valkurm so you're a little more visible.

thanks, but im not exactly sure how to get to those areas, or what a conquest circus is lol. I think I can find out on my own how to get there, but im not sure where to find info on the circus.

Re: Quesiton about my 360 version.

Ah, sorry. You said you were an original PC release player, I assumed that meant you'd been playing for some time. My mistake.

First, save yourself a TON of heartache. Find the map merchant in Windurst, and buy everything he offers.

Start in East Ronfaure. Head north into Tahrongi Canyon.

Head north through Tahrongi Canyon, on the east side of the zone about halfway up is the zone line to Buburimu Peninsula.

In the southeast part of Buburimu is a town called Mhaura. There is a ferry that docks in Mhaura that goes to the town of Selbina, which is halfway between Bastok & San d'Oria. NOTE: There is another ferry that goes to Al Zahbi. Talk to the NPC at the ferry dock to make sure the boat you get on is the Selbina boat.

Once you arrive in Selbina, leave town & you'll be in Valkurm Dunes, which it sounds like you are familiar with?

EDIT: Konschtat is the zone with Teleport-Dem. You reach it by going through the Dunes, to the east.

Re: Quesiton about my 360 version.

Couple minor corrections to Teku's post:

You can probably get along just as fine for awhile in Tahrongi Canyon. I recommend you do.

The map merchant in windurst is in Windurst Woods, near the fountain (OK, not a correction, still... but it's a she! I think...)

You don't need to worry about getting on the wrong boat. Until you do a certain quest, the boat will just kick you off, so you can't go to the wrong place.

              Thanks everyone =)
Yea I was an origional PC player, but I never got passed level 18, and it was all in the Bastok areas. I played when it was first released then stopped around level 18.

Will I be able to get the same amount of parties going on in the canyon as compared to the dunes though? assuming people still use the dunes as their main party location for these levels.

Re: Quesiton about my 360 version.

Probably not, I havnt seen a single lv up Party outside Mhuara in at least 4months now. You can easily get the boat over to the dunes tho.

Re: Quesiton about my 360 version.

People don't tend to stray away from the "preset" exp. areas so you won't be seeing many parties outside of the dunes (unless you are a duo or trio or something). Some people around 14-16ish will go to Korroloka (sp?) Tunnel. You should know how to get there if you were originally from Bastok. However, don't expect a whole lot of invites for the Tunnel: People just prefer the ultra noobyness of the dunes for some reason.

In any case, wander/solo around with your party flag up. Tahrongi Canyon is good for soloing around level 10-13ish. Then again so is Konschtat Highlands, and that's closer to the dunes.

                  Good luck.

Re: Quesiton about my 360 version.

generally it's because unless you have a set of at least 4 people you actually know the chances of filling the party (beyond an extra one member or so) with someone who a) knows what the heck korro tunnel even is and b) knows how to get out of dunes and to bastok without taking close to an hour and c) understands that you can't just run up and attack a stand of worms like you can a stand of dunes crabs and d) care to take the time to travel 30 minutes out of dunes for what will probably be a 1 or 2 hour party just to have to travel 30 minutes back for their next party rapidly approaches 0% (at least on my server).

that said, korro and bubu are great alternate leveling areas. hit them up if you have a chance.

I highly recommend staying in tahrongi until about lv12-14 before you go to dunes to join a party.
