    New mobs in Valkurm Dunes?

    I lvl'd WHM from 15-19 on friday night in the Dunes, at Oasis then Secret Beach, and while we were in secret beach we wiped twice due to Goblin Bounty Hunters popping right next to us and kicking my ass. Maybe I am just choosing to forget, but I swear to jeebus I don't remember Gob's popping on the beach last time I was down there as WAR a couple months ago. Not only that, but I think they dialed the Gob's agressiveness up or something, because they were REALLY pissed, much much angrier than the Gobs down there I remember. We were aggroing mobs that were halfway down the beach, it seemed...

    So yeah, are these new mobs or something? Didn't think to ask anyone in party (mainly because I was swearing at my monitor as we died)...

      LoL theres been a update that mentioned these goblins. In that thread was a huge discussion about them. Then another member posted another topic on these same mobs. An now here we go again..

      So anyways if you dont care to use the search funtion thats fine. Those goblins are new. There S.E's wonderful way of chasing away the millions of RMT an fish botters you see in the dunes all the time.. An before you think about adding a few more threads. Yes S.E put them along the cost an lake in quifim, Burb penn, an Batt downs..

      Nin75, Bst75. Drk61, War61, Rdm40, All other jobs are 37. All 3 starting city missions completed. All Zilart missions completed. All CoP missions completed. TouA completed.

        Goblin Bounty Hunters were added in the latest update. They are suppose to be SE's answer for Fish botters.

        Mhurron is right though try doing a search for things before starting up a new thread.

          sorry, didn't know...I hate the search function as I either get 6 billion results or none, and thus spend 45 minutes digging through 10 page threads to find something that "kinda" relates. My last searches were broken, hence I didn't even attempt this time...

            Wow, you know, I have never, ever seen someone fishing down there. Didn't know this was a problem on Secret Beach...

              quick lesson on the search function:

              if you are going to search on something incredibly generic like "gil," then of course you will get 6 billion results...

              if you are more specific, like "goblin bounty hunter," then you should only get a handful.

                It isn't a problem there that I know of either, but SE put the Bounty Hunters near alot of the areas that you can fish, I have only come across a couple of places so far that they are not at and you can fish there.

                The worst place I have seen so far is the Pond in Qufim Island.

                I also noticed they respawn really f***ing fast. I was at the Secret Beach last night waiting for my party to get there and decided I would kill them when I saw them I would kill it and not even 5 seconds later it was back. I don't think I have seen a mob respawn that fast.

                  Yeah, I've never had such a hard time down there before. I don't think I'm going to be camping there anymore unless its a necessity. Time to consult campsitarus I guess...

                    I don't think anyone fish in Valkurm. There's arrow wood logs in Valkurm. It will break almost every small fish rod.
                    The gobs were put there just in case I guess.

                    The pond in the middle of Qufim is a.... um... WAS a safe safe place to fish for yellow globes. I think it make sense to put a gob there to prevent exploit in the future.

                      I've seen one fish botter...but I was hearing that they weren't that much trouble unless they link...I'm not that sure since all my info is secondhand....
