I will say that I dont use a windower or any other programs. I did try windower approx 3 years ago, but my eyes are so damn old that the little box on my screen was so difficult to read I had to practically put my face against the monitor to read it. I immediately deleted it. Its of no value to me if I cant read it without magnifying glasses. Image being in battle.... I do however have a 13 month old puppy that decides when I am in game is the time to chew on me, relentlessly. She needed to be liberated to the back yard for a short time...thats why I stepped away from the computer.

You can just change the resolution. I use windower in fullscreen so it's just like playing normal til i need something. Only time i use in an actual window smaller than my screen is when fishing.

Thankfully, I got in touch with the seller, who turned out to be a JP.

This actually marks the second time I had to use the auto-translator to tell a JP that I had misbid on an item. The previous time it happened, I was playing on PS2, so it wasn't a windower flakiness problem.

I have a buddy who accidentally bid 2m on Leather Boots...when he was trying to buy Leather Boots. I lol'd at him for days after that. xD Now that is really making some newbie happy.

I prefer the time when some asshole was listing his kclub or mkris or something else worth tens of millions of gil on AH, for 1G, and buying it back to himself over and over, to wipe the price history. He got about 7 entries in before someone got wise and bought it for 2G.

He actually had the nerve to bitch that the guy wouldn't return it to him later.

I did that myself the other day, paid 25k for 1 Imperial Bronze Piece by accident when I thought I was bidding on a stack. My mother called in the middle of my bidding with more computer problems (oh, the joy of trying to fix someones network over the phone with an unfamiliar router), plus I had vent up, so I've got 2 conversations going in my ears, plus the TV on in the background.

The worst part is, I wasn't even doing it for myself; I'm the only person in my ls with a Jueno mule, so of course I am designated bitch when it comes to buying new equip 90% of the time. Hopefully that's my one and only screwup like that...25k isn't a lot to some people, but I'm poor enough that it stings a little ^^
