Duelist's Tabard would be great, but just thinking about all the time it would take to get it is enough to make me wanna quit XI altogether.

But for people who has the time to work for it week after week I guess it's a very obtainable item.

Making Dynamis easier (item drop rate-wise) would be great for more casual players, butfor players who have the time to schedule 2 runs a week it wouldn't be the time sink SE intended it to be.

Not in my experience, or pretty much all my friends either.

Please answer this question honestly:

Is your LS or your friends LS able to kill every single monster in a city dynamis before time runs out?

How about clear Beaucidine(I butchered this) fast enough to farm it or the same for Xarcabard(except Dynamis Lord)?

The key to getting a lot of drops is killing a lot of monsters... including those death-pit houses in Windurst.

Also, put a THF in all the DD parties, including the BLM party.

He's right. Cities drop AF at a pretty decent rate.

I wish that was true for me.

I did Sandoria for nearly half a year. Only saw the bard hat once(that was when I first joined).

But did it drop all the other AF at a regular rate? Just because you haven't seen the particular piece you're looking for doesn't mean things aren't dropping.

I dunno ive done so many windy runs its not even funny. I never seen nin af drop. An 1 time i saw Bst AF drop. Other stuff did drop. But weirdest thing i saw was 2-3 Pld af a run..

Considering how many jobs there are an how long you spend at a run. Thats pretty poor. although i been in some where we got 1Af.

This is gods own truth when it comes to Dynamis. The key is killing as many monsters as you can. We go in with generally over a full ally of blm parties - each with a bard and thf in them. That is a) a lot of sleeping and b) a hell of a lot of DDing. Mobs do not last long, as a result, our best was I think 18 AF in a city. We certainly get no less than 8 on average. My old shell, which cleared far less, was lucky to walk out with 3. Northlands are a rule unto themselves, but most Beauc we will walk out with 4-5 AF.

My Tuesday shell is much larger than my Friday shell. We have about 40 people that go tuesday, about 8 blms, few tanks, couple whms, etc and we do quite fine with the drops. I think there are 4 thfs that attend regularly and we usually get 8-10 af drops and perhaps a 100 or two in a night. We do clear every zone with plenty of time to farm and such.

My friday shell is much smaller though, 20 people usually attend, me being the only whm (or one of two on occasion) but we do alright there too. Maybe 6-8 af drops, and a 100 if we're lucky.

Over all though I don't think 10 af for 40 people, or 8 af for 20 people is all that bad. Certain pieces we don't see as often, rdm and pld mainly. But I don't think that af2 is suppose to be extremly easy to obtain. If af2 was easily obtainable people would get it and if they didn't intend on working towards a relic, would stop doing dynamis all together once they had it. If not enough people are doing dynamis, then no one could feasible obtain a relic weapon. It already takes almost 2 years for most people a relic weapon, how much longer would it take if less was being dropped and sold by others?

Over all I enjoy dynamis. Things I would like to see are instancing and perhaps only limiting it to twice a week instead of every 72 hours. That way I could go fri/sat, instead of staying up late after work on tuesday.

Ice zones are new to me, but so far I like them. Noticiable less af, but much better rewards. My first xarcabard we killed shadow lord (only dropped 100), got a test for shield and dagger, and still had time to farm. Very long night, but no wipes, and very little death in general, save the EES the rdm ate <.<

I guess im just part of an unlucky Dynamis shell. I mean if its been 2 years an im 3/10 on Af2 something aint right. It might have been 5 out of 10 but they let noobs come right in an loot on ninja af body an bst helmet. 48dyn 1 year, 96dyn the following year, An a half a year more, An i have 3.. And i have had 0 competition for most of Bst drops. Cause im the only bst in the shell. an most of the nin af drops cause i dont loot sky drops. Youd think id be closer then 3 out of 10.

About the same here - our group is regularly 35 people (though we have a pool of up to 60 who could come) and we usually get 8-10 AF in the cities and 3-4 in the Northlands. Also, with the recent change to Thief's Knife we also now average two 100V per run.

I lost a /random to sponsor Bastok last Monday and three 100 Bynes dropped.. ARGH!
