Thought I might as well make a thread with this maintenance going on

Time to post some weird, random or down right stupid comments you've heard in game!

The latest one I heard was: "besieged soon, that'll be another 10k exp." *Party laughs.*
"No really, had it happen."

He shortly left the party to do Besieged and get his 10k exp but we never heard back from him that he had proved himself true.

The funniest one I heard was whilst in a VD pt fighting a Goblin Mugger but everyone kept missing. Someone turned around and said "weird, stoneskin up" Someone had to point out to him it was a THF type mob.

Lol, I suppose a rdm could, but how would you ever keep hate. I've tried tanking on whm for random mobs with friends, but too much -enmity gear doesn't let me keep hate with my high delay clubs. Suppose you could have a thf SATA you, but I don't think it would of turned out pretty <.<

This was from a endgame linkshell forum, I won't get into names, but its probably the most arrogant (and stupid) statement I've seen anywhere in my entire life:

"Allowing me to join [Linkshell] was the best decision you guys ever made."

I fell out of my chair, laughed until it hurt. This guy is not only a wallflower, he gets emo when anyone camps anything against him or his linkshell. He thinks he is the linkshell's very soul.

He's been camping Eastern Shadow for weeks and gets mad when people camp against him. He doesn't even need the drop, he already has Eurytos' Bow. He just wants the r/e drop so he can sell the E-Bow. He's still camping it.

So I stand near his usual AFK spot so he gets a good look at my Vali's Bow when he's there. I camped it twice my entire career for all of 5 hours total. Har har.

You would have to keep a lot of cures up on yourself and others around you, as well as Refresh, and probably some nukes along with your regular batch of enfeebles. There is no way you'd have any MP left after two fights.

I saw a video of an RDM tanking before, but the dude was /WAR, and equipped for it.

Just asking an RDM to tank out of the blue is a very bad idea.

Awhile ago while in a party....

Party Member: Dude, why do you have your wyvern out? Send it awhile! It's leeching all our exp!

Me: Wyverns do not detract from party exp, where did you hear something like that?

Party Member: The Brady Guide says that pets take awhile exp, so summons, wyverns, bst pets, etc (cleaned up his language a bit here)

Party member: OMG! Look at that crappy exp!

Me: Yeah, the leader is 3 levels above us and things con differently to him, and only bst pets that con EM+ to the bst reduce the bst's exp, not the parties

Party Member: (insert derogatory comments about my intelligence here and some insult to the summoner in the party)

And I forget how it came up, but I wound up saying:

Me: You know, I heard that whenever a summoner summons, each summon takes off 30% of the party's exp


The summoner in the party got a kick out of that
