Just put bbq on your ignore list like he's done to you. If neither of you can see what the other is saying, then there's no problem right?

I don't like to censor parts of the forum for myself. Agreeing to be polite to each other is (to me) a far more reasonable suggestion IMO.

I have no way of knowing whether or not I'm actually on his ignore list. He said I was before, but responded to me anyway, so it was clear that I wasn't.

I'm not sure what I have to do to make you people happy. But thanks for minding your own business.

When it's on a public forum for me to see, it's my buisness, had you conducted this whole thing in PMs... I wouldn't be able to say anything at all about it.

And vice versa, guy. If you're going to comment on an issue that doesn't involve you, don't be surprised when you're called on it. I think I've been pretty polite. But if you think I'm being pissy, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not.

To anyone else who feels the need to comment, I am reachable via PMs, and as you can see on the left, several chat programs. I'm not an unreasonable guy, and my OP was pretty polite, while still getting the point across. For some reason, however, a bunch of people felt the need to take offense to it (which I don't understand), and I responded as best I could. I didn't make it personal, and I don't think I've been unreasonable. If you have a problem with me, I'm available for you to explain why.

The fact is, you can call me on it if you want to, I don't mind my buisness being out in the open, but if you're the type who doesn't want comments like mine... then don't have your buiness out here for all to see.

The reason I didn't PM you on that last one is because like I said here, I don't mind everything being in the open. But I also would never tell someone mind their own buisness because of that.

No, it wasn't.
It just seems that nearly everytime BBQ posts you come in with some remark about the posts. I mean, damn, "if you got some kinda problem with him, why keep looking at his posts" is what I was thinking. If you can't see his, and he can't see yours, there's no problem anymore.

Maybe I'm just an easy target. BBQ says just as much, if not more to and about me and my posts, and no one says "Hey, stop being mean to ol' Murphie", but I say "Hey, this thread isn't necessary" and an army of folks come out of the woodwork to tell me off. Then when I dare to speak up for myself, I'm accused of trolling, or trying to build up my entirely worthless post count.

Post counts don't matter folks. Can we at least let that go? I have never, nor will I ever, tell someone that my post count matters, or should afford me any special treatment. If Ping were to reduce it to zero tonight, it wouldn't change anything about my posts here.
