Sorry for the necropost (and double post <_< ), but I got another question which didn't seem to call for its own thread:

Since when does Bard (esp. Tarutaru Bards) = "Spoony," meaning anything from silly to naive?

And any smart-aleck remarks from Murphie going to Wikipedia and comparing Tarutaru Bards to a European Disc Jockey will result in ME Punting HIM (even though we're both Tarus >_> ).

So, to summarize, since when does "Bard" = "Spoony?"

That was from the original translation of FFII(SNES) to be even more specific. The game was actually FFIV and the PS and GBA releases of IV have all kept the spoony bard line as far as I can remember.
