well i kept getting kicked off started download at 6pm est and finished up about 7am as i left for work this morning 13hrs ftw >.<; my ls did get like 4 ullis last night tho lol so i cant be too mad

Well my xbox version that said it was going to take longer than the computer version actually finished first...only took 9 hours <.<

Computer has less than 2hours to go. Too bad I put all my stuff on my mule account that I can't log in at the moment. So I'm sitting nekkid in MH till it finishes

Nice to see that I'm not alone in this. I have got a 100mbit connection and a decent computer. I've been trying to download for 18-24 hours I think. Been dropped by the server 4-5 times and I have 6 hours estimated left. that's 6 hours for ~800 files.

I'm located in sweden so I'm guessing that can add some instability. (if the updateserver is located in japan)

It took me 8 1/2 hrs to down load this update. I could not believe it. I have been playing forever now, and have never seen an update go so slow. I have a direct cable internet feed and still it started @ 10hrs and I got booted off multiple times before it completed. Started yesterday @ 3pm and it ended I think @ 1130 pm.

Slow is an understatement. Started 7pm last night. by the time I went to bed it was at 8% done, time remaining unknown (started at 10 hours remaining.

Woke up this morning, it disconnected at somepoint, error:Server Busy

So I started it up around 7:15 this morning. Estimated time: 3 hours.
I leave for work and 8:15, estimated time remaining: 3 hours 30 minutes

Do you know the file size of this update?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 100 MB's is kinda large for an update, no?

Either way, you can go do something while it updates, like go out to lunch/dinner with a friend, or something.

pfft I downloaded Bleach 118 in less than 10 minutes and that's over 100 mb.

God, I get it all set up to DL overnight, wake up and turn on the TV and what do I see? "Network Congestion. Would you like to retry?".

I hate my frigging internet. Charter 3 meg service, most I've ever pulled down in a test is 2200 kbps...in practice I've never gotten above 900k. I was thinking of upgrading to the 10 Meg service they offer now but that means an extra $50 on my cable bill (which is already $150) and I just don't know if it's worth it. Starting to think maybe...

I have the 10mbps, it's pretty fast, you upload fast too at 1mbps . You'll be wondering what to do with all the leftover bandwidth. (try seeding some bt files.) Over the past few days I've seeded a ton, over the past month I think I've seeded over 40 gigs of stuff. Just make sure you run Peer Guardian 2 to protect your ass or NBC will be after you for downloading Heroes haha.

but even with your bandwidth being so big, it doesn't matter. The server handing out the files is still handing it out one at a time, slowly but surely. That is until you get d/ced. Which I have last night, so it's starting over again...

It took me around 9-10 hours to download. And I did get kicked off once toward the beginning, but other than that no problems, I just let it dl through the night and was back on early this afternoon to check my AH.

Well at 8:00 I booted up the download again, and hurrah! it was done by 8:25!
