I just looked into the skill lvls for both club and sword for war sword is 256, club is 240. The only reason I can come up with using a Ridill over a KC is the fact unlike a kc it does better dmg for what tp you are feeding the mob. I'm not a war but if it was me I think I it would be better to Main hand a Ridill and off hand a KC but I wouldn't really know. I can't say Rampage is much better than vorpal but both my axe and sword skill are about the same so that will make some dif. As for drk I don't c how we even hit hnms with 220 club skill.

o-O holy **** that PROVES THE THEORY! Alexander IS the Alzadaal Ruins!

That dosen't prove anything. Besides, Alexander(if that is him, which I do belive it is) is purple, and the Ruins are gold. You also have to keep in mind that reguardless however castle-like Alexander is, he IS a biotechnological weapon(Like Ultima and Omega) which means he cannot be an area, unless it is an area like Pso' Xja. Ontop of that, .Area dats are flat maps and pieces of terrain duplicated and spread over a zone, Alexander dosen't follow the area format.

If you wanted he tell me that Alexander is INSIDE the ruins, I might consider that. But he certainly isn't the ruins himself.

Souleater with AF Helm gives the player a +20 acc bonus while Souleater is activated. Throw in Sushi and acc isn't an issue. Can use Acc rings too, but that can take away from +HP gear which leads to lower damage.

The new missions explain the connection between the Ruins and "Alexander". Or you can just click the spoiler tag in the missions post to find out right away (and pretty much spoil all the missions).

Disappointingly, the chief sergeant gear is in fact the Perdu weapons. They don't look that good to me, although I suppose it depends on what triggers the latents.

Since there weren't any new NMs introduced, I think the level 75 rare/ex stuff must be coming from Nyzul somehow... unfortunately my Assault static couldn't log on tonight because of server congestion, so I don't have any information on it yet.

A Perdu is a solder i think *goes to look it up on Merriam-Webster Online online again* yeah it is (one that is assigned to extremely hazardous duty). So my guess is while the player is under sanction, in battle mode or near death. Probably the latter.

WAR's don't use Kclub offhand, they use Ridill. Kclub WAR isn't as good as you might think.

If SE was going to gift me with an item out of the blue, and I had a choice between Ridill and K. Club, I'd definitely go with Ridill.

Asking WARs which happen to have both of them which one they prefer to use... that's like talking to a millionaire and asking them whether they prefer a Ferrari or a Rolls-Royce. It just has no practical impact on 99% of the rest of the population.

Hope the Anniversery ring isn't ToA-specific and requires IS, I burn through my IS all the time. I'm a consumables jobber, I even check the couch in my mog for loose change.

I have a feeling it will be Signet-specific.. if it is it'd be a huge incentive to dust off those old mid-level camps in Cape Terrigan, Valley of Sorrows, Bibiki Bay, etc..

No it wont, use empress band lv52+ and use Aniversary ring lv1-52. Gets you out of old areas faster and back into the TP Burn areas, oh yea!

I got a feeling the Anniversary ring will be given out once a year with no way to recharge it. The name and bonuses just scream "Event Prize" to me. And what better way to show SE's appreciation for adventurers(as the Adventurer Appreciation event is only two months away) then to award them with an item that can double their exp gain for a set amount of time.

Speak for yourself, for those of us who go out to solo, there's really no incentive to go to the ToA zones now. MP Refresh? Pfft.

And you may find that PLD, BLU, the melee RDM or the CORs you ask sub WHM may start insisting on RoZ/CoP zones. Remember, three of those particular jobs don't have to stay with your PT if they don't want to.

Also, in these old zones you now have fair reasons for alternative and less conventional subjobs. That lolDRG/WHM that wasn't so functional to you before will now have a more viable function since they don't lose TP for resting.

I know for a fact that even without getting the new signet EXP bonus that my EXP per hour was much better last night as BST than most my career. No more do I have to always spened the TP I have at the end of fights because I'd have to rest. I can now rest while my pet softens the mob up and spend my TP more freely as I solo.

And that's also going be the case for PUP and DRG, RDM, BLU and others are now going to have less downtime on solo with no TP loss.

I don't expect it to totally unhinge the mindless trend of TP burn, but it has opened up more solo opportunity and make EXPing in the older zones very practical again.

On Blue Gartr they claimed the Perdu's latent is the same as maneater/blau dotch. So +15 att and +5 acc under 100% tp and during weaponskills right?

The sword is great for Blu then.
