Dahak is not an NM, it's the red dragons on the island in Zhayolm. I think Bat Eye is just a normal ahriman from one of the northlands zones.

There are some things on that list I wouldn't want to try with 6 people if they're at their full real-world strength (Cerberus, Hydra, Khimaira!?), but still, wow.
Defeated: Maat, Divine Might, Fenrir, Kirin, Cactrot Rapido, Xolotl, Diabolos Prime, Kurrea, 9/10 Dynamis Bosses (missing Tav), Promathia, Proto-Ultima, Proto-Omega, 4 Jailers, Apocalypse Nigh, 6/6 Nyzul Bosses
        RDM90, PLD90, DRG90, COR90, SCH90, BLU54
All Nations Rank 10, ZMs & PMs Complete, AUMs Complete, Captain, Nyzul Floor 100 (5 Weapons, 4 WS), Medal of Altana, WotG Mission 15, 1/3 Addons Complete, 9/9 Abyssea Main Quests, 6/6 Caturae

Also, for your knowledge, Sharp-eared Ropipi is a NM rabbit that appears in East Sarutabaruta, and drops what's essentially a knockoff of the Noble's ribbon.

I'm kinda hoping these drop their normal drops, but I have a feeling they'll be fixed somehow.

Also, doesn't this randomly generated dungeon remind anyone of the randomly generated bonus dungeons of the GBA FF Remakes?

Yeah, it strikes me as combination of the "Soul of Chaos" dungeons in all the GBA reissues of Final Fantasy I-VI, the 100-level dungeons in Final Fantasy Tactics and FFX-2 and the Omega Dungeons in FFVIII and FFX.

I just hope the objectives in these dungeons are varied and interesting. I hate random dungeon generation except when it has variety and differing strategies.

Disgaea and FFTA are good examples. Disgaea had the Geo-panel system, each had an elemental affinity and special property like Invincible, and EXP bonus, melee or magic null, even movement locks and other twists. You could destroy these panels to create damage cascades on enemies.

FFTA had the Judge System. While the areas you fought in always changed, you had "laws" imposed on them that changed each time. Sometimes it was an elemental spell or kind of weapon that got restricted from use. It was varied and kept areas fresh and interesting.

So I hope SE has something in mind to keep Nyzul Assault interesting. I loathe random dungeon generation like it is in Diabolo II or the Dark Cloud series, its just souless, lazy design.

              Awesome! Fafnir! Maybe I'll finally get a Neptunal: Head Abjuration. Too bad they don't have Nid ; ;

If you want the epitome of suck with regards to randomly designed levels, look at Megaman X6. It wasn't an RPG, but it was total crap because of that random generation.

Seems more like the optional 'tower' in Windwaker

I like how people are comparing it to other videogames. The whole concept has been done a thousand times by a thousand different genres. That's like saying FFXI's Tiamat reminds you of "X" Dragon from "X" game.

Re: Monsters in the 6th Assault

Ok, so got to try this. Each floor has randomly selected mobs and a layout. If you are lucky and are on a kill everything floor, you will have 1-2 NMs. Kill the NM, pop the chest they drop and get a ??? item thats related to their real drops (Like if it was Lizzy, you'll get ??? Footwear). Return to Whitegate after you are done and get the item appraised. Theres a chance it will the the NMs real drop or a piece of garbage.

                      Examples from 2 runs:

Emergent Elm, chest with ??? Sword (drops Crude Sword outside), appraised to Xiphos

Gargantua, chest with ??? Necklace (drops some crappy neck piece), appraised to Leather Gorget

That Spider NM from Korroloka Tunnel, chest with ??? Polearm (Drops Webcutter), appraised to Ash Club.

NM possibly could have multiple ??? items (Emergent Elm drops Arborist's Nails as well, so maybe ??? Footwear). NMs can also just normally drop items, like Gargantua dropped some Mythril Ore, so Fafy could drop scales/Dragon Heart etc as well as its ??? item from the treasure chest.
