That may not be professional, but it should be expected when you treat people rudely.

In any event, its just better to ingore the jerk than to say anything, which is why I've stopped coversing with with people who choose to be hostile and boss me around.

I get so tired of this mentality that we should always strive to be nice to people on the internet when the people in question are totally rude and bossy little brats who think they own everything. No, that's just letting yourself get walked all over.

Turning the other cheeck doesn't mean you have to take shit from people, just ignore them and move on. To the fools, their folly. Its a waste of time to try and correct them and teach them to be nice, let their parents worry about teaching them morals.
For once I actually agree with kitten. The Apocalypse is nigh! :p

If someone comes at me with a rude comment, I'm not obligated nor am I expected to be nice to them. I may not have resorted to name-calling, but I don't feel that going out of my way to be nice to someone who's being a dickhead to me is really worth my time.

No one says you have to be nice, Aksannyi. But if you lower yourself to their level, I lose any sympathy for you.

The bottom line is, the OP knew she was in the right. She should have just ignored the baseless complaint and continued on with her day. But no. Instead she responded in kind, got all riled up, and then came here to post about it, hoping that folks would come along and back her up by telling her what she already knew -- that she was not in the wrong, and this guy was an idiot.

Actually no I really came to post to see if he had any right. The guy in question wasn't some low ranked newbie so I wanted to see if he did have some basis to say what he did, seeing as I generally make the mistake of thinking if you have a high rank and a high level job to match you generally know something about the game. I also wanted to know if there was anywhere else I could solo at that level without interrupting other parties and if that was what Godswarrior was trying to tell me in not so many words so that for furture reference I can just exp there.
