Looking for major spoilers!

I quit the game quite some time ago, but one thing has been bothering me ever since; I was never able to finish the RoZ and CoP missions and I really want to know what happens in them!

In RoZ I made it to the Ark Angels and I assume there isn't much story after them. You just defeat them and then Eald'narche (or whatever his name is) and it's over, right? There are no twists or revelations past that point, only a kill minions -> kill villain sequence, right?

But CoP is a bit more mysterious. I defeated Ouryu but I haven't seen what's past that point.

I've seen most of the BC fights and I've read some guides on where to go and what to do but they don't really explain the story at all. Does anyone know of a more detailed CoP guide that also includes information about what is being said and what happens in cut scenes and so on? If not, would someone be willing to write here and fill in the parts of the story that I never reached in the game?

A collection of video clips that contain not only the fights but also all the talking and cut scenes would be the absolute jack pot but I bet nobody has done that.

Hell I went through CoP and I still don't understand or know all of it.

I guess that happens when it takes me 2 years to get through a story. >.>

There is in fact one quite rather gigantic twist at the end of Zilart...

HUGE spoiler about the end of RoZ, and a bit of a spoiler about CoP, do not click if you do not want to know, this is your first last and only warning

Even after you defeat Eald'narche, in his madness he makes one final attempt to take you and everyone else in the world with him by restarting the crystal line before it is complete and starting another Meltdown. Lion sacrifices herself, diving into the gathering energy and disrupting it, causing the machine to shutdown and the energy to dissipate but killing herself in the process. Eald'narche moves to make one final attempt but he is stopped by Yve'noile who takes him away to his final sleep. The restarting of the crystal line wasn't completely without consequence unfortunately, as it sapped power from the crystal holding Al'taieu in Lumoria causing it to begin descending towards Vana'diel and starting CoP.

I read the entire history now. Very nice info there. Plenty of stuff that I didn't expect, such as the fact that events in RoZ directly lead to the beginning of CoP like that.

However, as far as I know, there is one more BCNM after you've completed RoZ and CoP but it wasn't mentioned on that site. Does it actually have an explanation or is its only purpose to be a nice fight?

There is a (badly written) story to go along with it, but I won't spoil that one though ^_^
