Oh my dumb luck!

If anyone on Hades now or knows someone who is can do me a BIG favor I'd appreciate it HUGELY.

Here's what happened: I logged on with intent to do a little bit of teleporting, and I pick up a shout for a party who needs a teleport. I get in the party, accept the trade, and then I freaking lost my damn connection.

So now I feel HORRIBLE because basically I just stole this guy's money - however unintentionally - and I have been trying for the past ten minute to reconnect with no luck.

So, if anyone on Hades can possibly do me a favor, tell Wildboss that I (Aksannyi) disconnected and I will send the money to his delivery box when I am able to get back on, well, you have my eternal gratitude.

Well I finally succeeded in getting online to send him the gil. Luckily they were very understanding. So all's well that ends well. However, no more tele taxi-ing for tonight. That was like a sign.

I went to let the dogs out the other day...when I came back I was logged out and could not log back on....but when I finally relogged the party I was in had, of course departed. I tried to /t the leader to tell him what happened but I was ignored.

Couldn't find another party after that.

Funny how the times you wish you could DC, you never do... while you typically DC at the most unfortunate times. I DC'ed once camping a 20:00-04:00 NM. I claimed and DC'ed around 03:30. I got back on and managed to reclaim at 03:57.

That's nice that you got so worried about the gil Ak. ^^ I know a lot of people that wouldn't work too hard to give it back.

That happened to me a handful of times during my heavier tele-taxi days in 2004. I always feel terrible after it happens!

My Keyboard is one of those that has "extra" buttons on it (it came with the computer) and the button that calls up the tiny Calculator program DCs me, so I never have to worry about DCing when I want/need to . My connection, though, seems to punish me after I do that by DCing me when I don't want to be *pokes karma*.

I've had this happen to when taxing, I end up Poking someone who I know is still online, and having them apologise, and if it won't let me get back on, to refund them.

It's not so much my online reputation that I was worried about, I'm just one of those people who isn't about screwing others over. I'm like that in RL too, so I guess it's a sign that my mom did something right after all, and there's still hope for my kids.

That happened to me once too, was tele'ing a guy from jeuno, but I lagged out and DC'ed mid tele >.<

I finally logged back in and I was at the telepoint... sans my passenger... but I had his gil. I felt so bad I tried to tell him what happened but he was Japanese and kept saying ((Thanks for the offer, I'll have to pass)) *or whatever the line is*

I managed to convince him I was going to send his gil to his Delivery box, as he had moved on to another area at that time. Once he worked out what I was saying it was all ((Thank you)) and smiles. So it worked out well
