How do I obtain Imperial points? I need a map and it cost 1000 of them.

Imperial Status is earned much the same way that Conquest Points are earned in the rest of the world. You can earn them by participating in Besieged, or by fighting mobs in the ToAU zones with the Sanction buff (just like Signet), obtained from gate guards.

Imperial Standing comes from defeating enemies while under the influence of Sanction, which is available from a number of gate guards in Aht Urhgan Whitegate and Al Zhabi. They're basically the Treasures of Aht Urhgan equivalent of Conquest Points, but they are tracked separately than CP.

You can earn imperial standing by participating in Besieged without Sanction active as well. I didn't know how to get Sanction the first couple of times I did Besieged, and I still got Imperial Standing.Comment

Oh, really? That's weird. I remember I didn't have Sanction once and while I earned XP, I didn't get a message saying I earned Imperial Standing. That was pretty early on when Besieged first was introduced though, so maybe it changed?Originally posted by Murphie View Post

yes during besiged you get IS even without sanction. but what he needs to earn IS is to do the first few missions up to delivering supplies to an outpost. i have over 40k IS from besieged only. now im earning merits as well should get my 2nd one from besieged next time it happens.Comment

Before I started EXPing in Aht Urhgan zones regularly, I got all my IS from besieged. Just ran around curing and raising.Haggai
