  • So I wonder ...

I know the servers are identical in terms of areas and whatnot, and I know that due to the different playerbase, economies and crowdedness of zones will vary. I think even Besieged is different, based on the enemy forces though I'm not sure how that all works.

But is the weather the same? If it's raining in La Theine on Hades, is it raining in La Theine on Fenrir, too? And every other server? And does it stop at the same time?

It's not really anything pressing, but I just wondered if the servers are syncronized at least in that aspect. Anyone know?

I would asume all the servers are on the same timer/random program that determines weather patterns.

    But it's an interesting question.

I'm guessing its some kind of AI to just throw random heat storms, thunderstorms and sand storms in vanadiel. I dunno its an interesting question tho.

there was a recent FPS with a AI program where the mobs would get smarter every lvl. like if you made headshots the whole time you'll see more wearing helmets and more rickoches (SP??) than kills. but...simply put random weather generator....lol

It's entirely possible, I suppose. But there's really no way of knowing.

If so, then I guess it would mean that some things like certain NM pops may be on a similar cross-server timer. Pirate attacks and so forth.

        But it seems unlikely.
