    Playing COR/RNG (30/15)...

    After many long hours I finally laid hands on an Emperor's Hairpin. From everything I've read, I can wear this piece of headgear right up to the AF and perhaps even beyond. So how long a life does this piece of gear actually have? If I can wear it for 20-30 levels then it was totally worth the effort.

    Thanks!

    I suppose it depends on your job. NINs can wear it until 70, when they can hopefully get their hands on an O-Hat. Other jobs? It's variable.

      Basically Agi seems to be the best stat to boost for Cor if you can't get Racc or Ratt. So yeah, it seems it's goof up until AF lvls. It's a nice piece to have, but will never make any real noticable difference in anything except maybe low lvl nin tanking and thf soloing.

        I would say 60 for Cor. Where you'll get 8 R Acc from your AF hat.

          That's what I get for reading. ><;

          Yeah, 60 COR or so.

            Regardless of how long it remains effective for COR, it may be worth holding onto for other jobs. Since the it's level 24, there's a fairly good chance you'll get to use it for other jobs.

            I bought one off the AH a long time ago simply because I needed something to invest my gil in (this was back during rampant inflation). Today, I swap it in for melee purposes when I level BST, and I also use it when soloing as WAR. The +evasion is nice, even for jobs with low evasion skill, so it might be worth keeping on hand.
