Hello, I would like to speak with you guys about this game. Because I want to play a game that you can do many things, not only levelling so I need someone to say all the things you can do in this game and make it to be fun, because only level up is a bit boring if you do it all the days.

B) Use the search function to target something specific

Other than level:

Missions, Quests, Craft, fish, help others, make money, try and make money, NM, HNM, explore, dynamis, limbus, besieged, assualt, BCNM, socialize, meet new people, events, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Lots, lots more besides that, but that was a general list of a few things comming to mind.

there a lots of things to do beside leveling in this game (crafting, quests, ballista, gardening, chocobo raising, etc.), but what others might find fun you might not.

so what is "fun?"

It's a world, a big one, specially when you start the game, leveling up is where you meet the most people and get the lvls you need to do many things.

I can't list all the stuff you can do in game, but between quests, gil-making, missions, BC fights and just plain running around doing stuff you wont spend that much time leveling unless you really want to.

It took me almost a year to get to 75 because how busy I was doing other things and leveling subjobs and doing other stuff.

But no one can tell you what XI is, you gotta see it for yourself. Depending on your expectations and playstyle and even the people you meet in game you'll decide if the game is for you or not.

But you can't really know till you try it, so you decide for yourself if its worth the import costs, you get 1 free month with your purchase, after that they'll start charging you on your credit card.

In my case I've been playing for more than two and a half years now and it doesn't seem like I'll quit anytime soon.

The XP grind is about 1/8th of this game - a very small ammount. As far as the rest of it being "fun", that is up to you to decide, not us to tell you. Let me tell you there is a TON to do.

Heh, it would be impractical to make a (good) MMOG that doesn't have (seemingly) unlimited possibilities on how to spend your time.

Just keep in mind that if you haven't played an MMO before and you're expecting this to be like one of the offline FF games, you're likely going to be disappointed.

Wow, that's a lot of MMOs. Then you should already know the status quo, and just dive right in. This game has everything that the others do. The only big difference is the subjob system.

Edit: I had people telling me that moving totally helped my evasion, and that having the higher ground gave you an advantage over the mob. Thanks a lot, random strangers when I was a newbie.
