    Re: Skilling up!

finding the right level monster for your level is the best i think to help you skill up fast. going to too high level monster or too low level monster will be hard to get skill up from it for some reason.
example level 100-120+ going to kuf tunnel crab ( this crab here usually best for lv 160-180+ from personal experience ) or going there for lv 200, i think u still get skill up at lv 200 there but is very slow. so if you really go to the right place, you do get skill up faster. This all may be just luck but i feel is more then it.

Is it really that big of a deal if moon phase does affect skill up rate? There's already so many other activities in this game where the consensus seems to be that moon phase has an impact: farming, skill up crafting, HQ crafting, gardening. Many players also theorize on moon phase impact on stuff like HELM.

But do you really want moon phase to dictate your playing schedule? It's going to get to the point where you only log in to the game once every 3.5 days because you want to maximize the effects of the moon on whatever activity you are doing.

Not really since I do more in game than crafting skillup and farming. At most it may mean I decide to finish some quests during a less favorable phase then go to the crafting skillup exc later weapon skillups are more of a curiousity and probaly wouldn't prompt that level of dedication to maxiumizing it while higher priced crafts might.

Sometimes it's fun to unravel puzzles like hidden game effects, what the max haste percentage for gear, the actual percentages for treasure hunter, exc. It's enjoyable to puzzle through these and if it doesn't interest you by all means don't, but I see nothing wrong with others in the populious enjoying the hunt.

Regarding helm low level it's not going to be that big of a deal, but once you start going 10k and above for a synth I'm more willing to craft on a game scheduled if it improves percentages and reduce gill loss.
