    Noble Mold & The Elusive Rain Hat!



    Seems like a nifty little hat to have, especially for your Bard of Beastmaster..

    Unfortunately the NM that drops this one, Noble Mold, is one of the most restrictive spawns in the entire game. And even then, it's not a 100% drop!

    So I guess the question now is.. who else has been watching the weather reports drooling over the moment when this one pops up?

    It's nice, but...

    - Level 41 means it's not usable for level 40 capped missions/quests/BCNMs.

    - There are reasonable alternatives like hairpins, trump crown, etc. that closely mimic the effect.

    - Max MP only really matters to Red Mages, and I think they're the only job that would really make good use of this item.

      I remember when this first came out and people were trying to figure out the spawn condition. I think its a cool item. It would be funny to see my drg running around in it.

        Well... I tried to camp this lovely NM for 3 days in a row, but no such luck of seeing it. Unfortunately, I had to stop camping the NM due to LS things to do. Honestly, getting my Carbuncle Mitts was worth so much more along with collecting my Moon Bauble in the process of helping other friends complete their first prime avatar fights. Oh well. It's all good. :D

          I remember running into this NM one day while getting lost in Zitah in my earlier days of playing FFXI, I regret not killing it because I could have had this for my SCH lol.
