Looking for japanese phrases

I've been partying a bit more lately with more japanese which is pretty fun, but also a little frustrating since I don't know alot of japanese, it's all the more frustrating since I can't for the life of me figure out how to ask a certain japanese player if he could be the main tank. Sometimes asking him if he could be the Ichiban (Shield) works, and sometimes doesn't.

So I was wondering if there was a guide out there for useful japanese phrases/words for exp parties while playing FF. I'm looking more for things that aren't covered too well by the auto translate feature, such as the main tank issue.

I always use {main} {Shield} for Tank or {main} {Cure} for Primary Healer.
You could try these for other special positions:
{Rear} {Provoke} {Sneak Attack} {Trick Attack}: SATA Partner
{Fisherman}: Puller (most common one I've seen)

don't know if this will be useful but it's a text file I use for recording japanese sentences I see other people used.

There's not a lot in it by the way. I used to have a realllllly huge file before which was lost when I quit over a year ago.

Heh, had to dig out my old NJstar program to be able to read it, might not be much in there but it's very helpful, thanks guys ^^
