  • NM Help Please

I know I have asked about this before, but another question has come to me, which I didn't really think to ask about before. I'm sorry.

Okay, I'm finally on my way back to Sandy, then Ronfaure to go get Jaggedy Jack to pop. (for my attempt on getting the Rabbit Charm) I'm already aware that I can go round killing all the rabbits to get him to pop, but what I'm wondering is..... do I need to kill every single rabbit in the Ronfaure zone for the pop, (which would take hours! *sigh!*) or just those near and around where he spawns?

    Moved to NM discussion.

You just need to kill the ones in his spawn area (H-9).

Do a google search for FFXI Atlas or Vanadiel Atlas. Its a nice page full of maps for all areas. It'll have different tabs for HELM, NMs and basic mob drops and mob lvls and suggested lvl ranges to fight them.

As for NMs they have circled spots of the usual pop points for them. It helps immensily!

I would suggest that this not be your first NM to camp. I have been playing for 3 years and have only seen him once. At least on my server there are always 2-3 people camping him. Seeing that you are not very experienced in NM camping, it would be blind luck for you to get claim.
Here are a few NM's to help you out.
        Orc Warmachines
Also you can kill Thousandarm who is a lottery pop near this spawn area.
Swamfisk This pug drops a nice staff that helps with recovering hp while resting.
Nunyenunc Drops a nice wand for recovering mp for mages.
        Tom Tit Tat
These will help you learn about NM's. Most of these aren't really camped heavily. This would be a nice learning experience.
        Thanks Kazuki.
