*raises hand* I've been trying to connect for about half an hour now, and it isn't working. I've messed with almost all of my settings, and I've come to the conclusion that FFXI hates me.

That I do, although I'm not sure if that is the problem.
I managed to connect finally, but the connection broke after about 30 seconds ingame, just enough time for me to get my LS's messages to start coming up.

yeah I can connect on and off, I was trying to put items in AH on mules and out of 20 attempts connected 3-4 times.

I can get in fine, seems like a comcast thing since other people I know with comcast are having issues also.

I have Comcast and I haven't had a good internet connection for over a week. I can log in but I will get kicked every minute or so. I have already had one visit from the "tech" guy with no result. He was supposed to get back with me yesterday but didn't. The worst part is that there are no other internet service providers in my area, unless I go DSL which I don't want to do.

Funny how they keep telling me that the poor internet signal is on my end, but up to last week my connection was great. Plus it seems that a lot of people are having trouble with Comcast.

Can you guys check the internet on your PC's with Comcast internet? I can't get pages to load fully, and most pages won't load at all. (I am at work )

I'm at work now, but what I will tell you is about 8 months ago I had some serious issues with my connection and after 2 weeks of going back and forth with comcast, I got on the phone and told the 1st person I talked to that I was pissed off and sick of the run around Comcast was giving me, I told them the problem was theirs and they better fix it. Next day my problems were gone.

This happened to me before as well. After calling Comast to complain of OVERLY slow internet connection, they told me it was most likely on my end and that my only option was to schedule a tech to come out and take a look. In the middle of that sentence I promptly ran a tracert > comcast.net and it showed the hops coming to a crawl at Comcast's servers, one hop taking like 900+ms to respond... I relayed this info to the guy on the phone and he said he'd pass it up.

The next day everything was fine.

I think becasue of the huge merger with comcast and roadrunner there's problems popping up randomly...Thats kinda why i said Ehh...with cable and went with a free T1 connection thru my company and Dish Network for Tv. I'm kinda tired of cable.

Well I tried going to gamewatch ( http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/game/index.htm ) and twice it failed to fully load the page. So it seems Comcast is having trouble reaching JP servers.

I got Comcast to start a ticket on this problem. Seeing I am at work and can barely even use the Playonline Plus feature to talk to friends in game.

Anyone else with Comcast having problems please call comcast and tell they it is THEM!!!!
