some questions

ok i recently picked up ffxi and started playing.. i picked up most of the start out stuff like the controls and such but there are still a couple of things that i really want to know

...like: 1) how do i get weaponskills
2)how do i get my job abilities

i would be grateful if you would kindly add some general tips on the game .

Weaponskills and Job Abilities come as you level. Weaponskills are obtained by leveling you weapon proficiency and Job Abilities come with leveling your Job.
