Sort Macro?

This may seem like a really stupid question, but is there a macro to sort inventory? I was mining earlier, and I was thinking how nice it would be to work an auto-sort into my pickaxe macro so I don't have to stop to sort constantly. I couldn't think of a way to do it, but then again, it's not like I'm a FFXI authority or anything...

So, is it possible, or just wishful thinking? Thanks for any help...
