  • Tarutaru in Divine Might

    I wonder if anyone had ever seen this.

    I did this BC with japanese pick up shouts many months ago actually. When they went throught the strategy, the leader told us to kill the Tarutaru last... I thought that was strange, no one was assigned to kite it either.

    Then we started, killing team (me) wait at the entrance and the puller pulled each mob to kill 1 at a time while the kiters kited others, some around the center, some back and forth the tunnel. Normally I guess.

    We killed all 4 very easy... rest to full and head the center of the BC. And there he was, the taru TT, warping around not caring about us or his dead fellows.....

    Just wondering if it was normal that the TT didn't link nor aggro. My LS went to do this tonight and no one wanted to try it, we just killed the TT first like any other normal run.

    That's weird. I've done Divine Might three times, and we've always taken down TT first since he's by far the most dangerous. Could it be possible that he doesn't link or share hate with the others? I can't imagine that's true because the others link...? Hard to imagine how you did it that one time without him aggroing if he does though.

    I wonder if this is a glitchy thing similar to what happened with Hpemde in Al'taieu, where it won't aggro you and attack unless you damage it? And if so, how did anyone notice the change? x.x

      Do AAs have party hate?

      If not then someone could just aggro the AAs while kiters grabbed all the other AAs and let TT kill (or mijin) the person who aggroed them, if he/she died far enough TT wont aggro the rest of the alliance.

      Edit> But then again if no one touched the TT in the first place then it might be the case he doesn't aggro or link till you attack him. o.O

        I'm really curious to know that too. The run that we left the TT alone, I was the killing team. So I didn't get to see what was going on in the center.

        Hmm maybe I'll grab some trigger, 2 hour Thf, flee, aggro and run away.... See if the Tarutaru chase after me o_O;

          I did it once when the Mithra just stood there and wouldn't do anything expect attack people in range, kind of like a perminent bind.

          Every time I've gone in though I've always killed the Taru first though like Icemage said.
