Re: Just...wow.
I agree with BBQ on this one, you can easily get your AF even if you don't have many high lvl friends, simply find other means to get what you need by being organized and to not give up.
For example, I just started getting my monk AF (currently lvl 54) and managed in receiving the first three pieces (weapon, legs, and boots), my LS mates (Argirios, Hellschild, Gangstamage) only helped me with getting the boots. The weapon, which I got with the help of a fellow 75 monk who responded to my /shout in Bastok (another way to ask for help if your friends are busy, just remember not to spam!).
The legs I got through a similar method as BBQ, I was /shouting in Jeuno (LS was doing an avatar run for one of our new members and most of my high lvl friends were offline) and after fifteen minutes of no responses, I simply decided to try another method. Looking at the chatlog, I noticed that there were /shouts for a Skill Up PT who were going to Castle Oztroja (the exact same place where the NM who had my AF was). So I sent them a /tell saying that I would like to join them and asked them if they wouldn't mind helping me with the NM since they were going there (remember to ask nicely and not demand help, especially if that/those person/people are going to go out of their way to help you) and they agreed to assist me.
So we head over and after an hour of lvling skills we popped the NM and beat it (there were 9 of us and the NM killed 4, luckily a PT of 75 JP ninjas' made an alliance with us and finished him off for us). I got my AF and I even stayed to help some people farm coffer keys.
Just remember that if you can't have your LS mates help and/or if any of your high lvl friends are busy, simply find other ways to get help and don't be afraid of helping others (beacuse you never know when you might need their help as well). If you can do that, then you can easily get your AF in no time.
Do unto others... as they would do unto you
