This just sunk into me on a thread that I've been reading and responding to for a bit now,

much like Biast is to Shadow Dragon

I thought Biast was a random lottery, does it really spawn right after the Shadow Dragon gets killed?

Now for the big question, I've been courting horrible savage HNM death for how long now whenever I kill that dragon as a lvl 67drg/16thf?

Oh, and since this is kind of a things you wish'd you'd known thread, NEVER toss a cure to a wounded high level player in the altepa deserts who is running past you, it would seem that HNM scorpion has a rather large draw in radius.

Yeah if Biast window is open and you kill Shadow Dragon he will pop more or less immediatly at the corpse of the Shadow Dragon. In addition he will have hate on the person who delivered the killing blow to Shadow Dragon. (this assuming his window triggers his spawn, which doesn't always happen).

I don't think you could kill it at 67 and thf subbed. I have tried to camp it before for the helm but I have had no success. If you kill shadow dragon then you start seeing your health go down pretty quickly, Congratulations you are fighting Biast.

Noo, I meant I've been killing the Shadow Dragon for how long now without knowing that some horrible HNM dragon may spawn if/when the Shadow Dragon is killed?

Yeah, I never thought much about it whenever I killed Shadow Dragon before (for like, a billion times or so, give or take a mil). I prolly still won't. I'll prolly pull a quick escape if I ever manage to pop Biast, and get my LS mates to come help me rape it ( OP Warps).

Level your THF a bit more, then if Biast does pop at least you can flee.

I only met him once after beating the Shadow Dragon. Never bothered with the Shadow Dragon again. I think Biast has draw-in also.
