In regards to the choco quest, you can feed a choco again after the in-game day rolls over. So, in theory you could feed once at 23:50 and again at 00:01 and then not come back to feed again for just under 2 hours.Comment

If I recall correctly, Vana'diel time runs at the rate of 25:1 verses real time. So one Vana'diel day runs for 57.6 real time minutes.
EDIT: Hmm. I'm wrong. It's 25:1. Fixed!
