I'm not entirely sure. I've heard that a certain software can allow you to use the controller for the PC, but I don't know if it's true.
Why you get it for the PC if you want to use the controller? The 360 version has all the expansion packs for free.

i got the controler for windows which comes with an instalation cd, so this is not a problem......
id like to know if FFXI is compatible with this controler and if someone has ever played FFXI with it....

yes you can play with it. just make sure you set iut up in FFXI config and your set.

it should be a easy point and click set up in FFXI config. i use a logitech controller myself so i'm not entierly sure about the combatability of the 360 controller...i'm guessing you shouldn't have a problem becasue FFXI runs on the 360...

From what I hear the MS driver on that CD is utter garbage. It does not support you using the triggers....now I could be wrong but that's waht I hear. Someone did write better drivers for it somewhere...

my triggers work fine for all my macros. I have my 360 controller configed just like my PS2 so i odn't get confused...

to be honest, i think the drivers not working properly sounds a little weird, i mean, its not like im trying to use a x360 controler, im trying to use a window x360 controler which drivers were made for it.....
