cant buy ID

every time i try to buy an ID for ff xi, i fill in all the info, codes ect but when i got to the last page i click pay and get

" url-4000 cannot conect to server, please try again later"

but nobody else is complainiung that the server is down, my connection is fine and both cards that ive tried have well enough on them,

i cant see what is the problem, can anyone please help =o/

thanks but i think this was the old problem from yesterday, servers are back up since then .... exept for me lolz

apparently, you just choose the most inopportune times to play with your content ids. you should be good now (hopefully)

Wrong place, rite time ... story of my life =o/ lol

still not working ... even tho its says server down ect i dont think its anythin to do with that ... im proly wrong but i think its sumert to do with the ff xi code cos its telling me iv got a free trial but i used that ages ago when i first tried ff ... before goin to wow lol, then i cancled everythin cos it charged me the folowing month when i wernt expecting it to, now im getting nothin but problems

had problems tryin to get on 4 days and running now =o/ ( 1st day was my own fault )

p.s. iv e mailed SE but just got an automated reply ( highly anoying)

ok .... think were gettin mixxed up ....

i bought the game like 12-18 month ago, played it for like 3 days and then left because all my m8's played WoW,
then i realised i was still getting billed for FF so i deleted all my chars and cancled my acc,

now iv come back, re instaled it all from my cd's, and gone to re activate my account..... which worked, then when i go to purchase a content ID i go thru the pages entering my card details, Final Fantasy xi code, how many months ext, and get to the last page where i click pay, where it comes up with

" UCS-4000

The server is buisy.

Please try again later."

but i dont thinks its anything to do with server bein buisy cos nobody else is moaning about it.
also when im paying it tells me i get i free trial which i was under the idea that id already used the 1st time round.

iv e mailed SE but they just send back an automated reply saying check the FAQ.

why do i get all the auqard problems

Nice to see I'm not the only one with this EXACT same problem. All of the maintenance is supposedly "done," but I still cannot buy a content ID. I, too, am returning after a long absense. I, too, see that it says I have a "free trial" but I used that a very long time ago.

I don't know what to do. I don't see anybody else talking about it, and all of my research has gotten me nowhere. I'm quite frustrated.

the only way i can think of solving this problem is goin buying the game again .... but thats against my principles =oP

i think maybee durin the account mantinance maybee they messed sumert up ... dunno, but its realy anoying

u can tell that this is a realy weird problem the way lodsa ppl vew the thread but none reply lol

after messing about for 2 days straight its looking more and more like im guna have to re-buy FF xi just for the code .... highly disapointing

was wondering if anyone knows a way of getting new codes without buying the game again ?? thanks

And you're sure this problem wasn't caused by the fact the registration server was down for 2 days? It's up as of now, so I'd say try again today. If that doesn't help.... then...
