Thanks all.

I have held off on the Mog Safe and Gobbie quests for that very reason - its costs sooo much to do them! I dont think I have ever owned more than 18K!

My ls members said they would lend me the bed, but still bow and ring to get.

I think ima go for a mule in Windy, for cooking purposes.

I think a mule is a good idea at any level. You can make a ton of money by just muling unstacked things and selling them when you eventually get stacks. Also selling small things that don't seem worth it can make a lot of money if you have some patience.
