I was able to get my HQ hat by wearing the NQ version, talking to Brian, and following "Pretty Heart" in costume.

At first, I stayed too far away and couldn't hear what the ghost said. The NPCs may "talk" in /say range. I didn't get too close and I was never caught by the ghosts. This was a nice, simple, solo-able quest. Even if your first costume wears off, as long as you don't zone, you can reapply and pick up with the ghost where you left off.

And now I've got the 3 Lanterns (Moogles in Port Bastok @ L-8) in my MH. I put the Bomb Lantern on my Flower Stand, but for some reason my Flower Stand is now invisible! My Bomb Lantern floating in mid-air??? A Kodak moment. ^^ I just hope my Flower Stand comes back eventually...

Wait so the only way to get a pitchfork is to go as one of those costumes with a friend in a costume and stand on the Halloween Decorations? Do both of you get the pitchfork? Does it show up on your items?

The Flower Stands will hold anything that's 1x1 size. At one time I had one of the Easter Eggs on it.

Yes, you both get pitchforks and yes, it just shows up in inventory.

The Flower Stands will hold anything that's 1x1 size. At one time I had one of the Easter Eggs on it.

Anyone else notice that you get a nice slug of mp from the Coven Hat on SMN or BST? Who says this stuff isn't exp gear? *slaps on his hat, enjoys his new 33 mp and runs off in search of bombs and dolls to sic Carbuncle on*

Incidentally, Thott, while I can completely confirm that your "2 stacks approach" works to get items, I'd like to register a complaint on how annoying it is to hand 33+ ginger cookies to an NPC before they'll finally give up the goodies. I think it took me almost 3 stacks to replace the Treat Staff II from last year, mostly because I forgot to pull my other gear out of storage, to prevent them giving me duplicates. Oh well, I'm sure I needed an extra Pumpkin Head II and Treat Staff.

Well I did this, got my Coven Hat and bought all three lanterns, and set them up in my MH next to the eggs from the Easter Event. Goes Windy, Windy, Sandy, Sandy, Bastok, Bastok. It should be obvious which is an egg and which is a lantern, but this is how they look in my MH.

I know Thott already posted them but hell they look cool so here they are again. I like these "Nation-specific" furnishings, they are all cool.

Do you mean Event Storage or Mog Storage? The first costumed NPC tried to give me a Trick Staff II when I already had one in regular Mog Storage >.<
