I have 79 woodworking for when I worked on Ebisu. Now I'm leveling my smith, 71 atm, going to take it to 100 if possible.

And fishing apron :D I'm 100 fisher.

Grats Jei! I do have a question though, can you work on Fishing Guild points at the same time as other crafting Guild points? I've always wondered this for a while since you can skill up fishing to 100 with another craft to 100 as well.

No, you still have to open a contract with the Fishing Guild, same as any other craft, which means you can only gain points in one guild at a time.

Well, not all that much really - main thing it costs is time.
For my cloth apron, I avoided trading in any GP item where the cost-to-GP ratio was over 7:1, so that I would end up "paying" at most 700k for it. With cloth there are frequent cases of 3-4:1, so I figure I spent 500k or so for my apron.
If the other guilds have similar ratios, 3 aprons would cost "only" 1.5-2 million (which for a 100 fishing ebishu owner should be chump change anyway, even leaving aside the fact it's spent over several weeks/months).

hehe I did quite a lot of mining and desynth and have quite a lot of ingradients left over stored on mules too ^^ Yea it takes time more than anything else.

Another thing is you'll need 68+ skill for apron. In my case, I trained woodworking to repair Lu Shang. I have no intention to use it any more tho which is why I got myself the wood apron before I delevel it. ^^

Smith was actually a lot easier than wood. I often got items impossible to find ingradients for wood GP.
