Would you change your characters name if you could?

Basically, just what the subject says. If there was a process in place, or an item like the Rename Card in FFVI, that gave you the ability to change a character's name one time; Would you use it?

Not likely I'm happy with the name I chose, although a card that would change both character's race and name would be very popular.

I would, but the name I wanted (Vyse) was taken.....and never do I see this name-stealer on.

Even though I wanted to name my character Kaze (from FF-Unlimited), I ended up liking my current name alot more.

To be honest, I think I'm better off with this name anyway, it's much more original compared to all the other players who stole names from other FF games, which could have been me if I got the name Kaze (or a name of similar spelling i.e: Kazee or Keze).

I don't think I would ever change my main, but I do have a mule that I invested quite a bit into that I wish I could change.

I'd like to keep mine. Besides, it would be dumb to allow to change it...that would let people be complete jackasses and have no reprocution except a name change.

I put no, because the only thing I would change would be to capitalize one letter, but it wouldn't let me before and I doubt it would now. I wanted my name to be kind of two names, Aksann-Yi, but it wouldn't let me so you can see how it ended up.

If hyphenation and a second capitalization were allowed, then yes, I would change my name. Though on some level I'm glad you can only capitalize one letter, you'd have people running around like "AKsannyi" because they typed it wrong, or "AKSANNYI" which is just annoying. (I hate all caps.)

More and more I come to regret my choice in names. First reason being that is wasn't what I really wanted, second being that IT'S SO FREAKING LONG! I mean, come on... "Burningpanther." What the hell was I thinking? If I had a second chance, I'd shorten it, something at six letters, max.

I think I would change my character's name. I hadn't played a MMORPG before and didn't really put any thought into my character's name. I had no idea how important the name was because of everything you invest in your character.

I don't hate the current one, but I would like to put some more thought into it and come up with something that I am 100% happy with.

Nope, I would never change my character's name. Although it doesn't follow the typical Taru naming convention, it still has a taru feel to it :D. I spent a decent amount of time coming up with it, and the one thing I'm proud of is its originality

Although I've run into a Hume named Jugal once, at least my name's not xxsephirothxxlegolasxxcloudxxlol

I'd like to change mine...simply because it's something that I didn't want all that much, as the original was taken as well. I'd probably keep mine similar, but I'd just like it to be shorter and different.

A friend of mine is -so- sure that SE will one day allow race changes, so why not these in the future? Although probably some rule where you can only do each once, I'd think. @_@

That reminds me of running into another Mithra, very similar in appearance to mine, who was named Hanta. Made me feel like i was Thing1 to her Thing2. I mean Hantz and Hanta. OK, OK, so I'm just paranoid. Get off my case. Why are you all acting like you're out to get me?
