I hope people don't start paying those prices, it should take a day or two for people to start producing more tacos. They'll probably try to sell back everything they just bought, which will flood the market.

Tell people to start buying Shallops Tropicale, another good tank food. Lasts three hours and usually costs around 10k.

Jei, its a lot worse than that on Titan, RMTs were shouting this in Jeuno last night:

Yeah its getting bad again, but this time, they're not being subtle. They've even finally begun the push to Sea and ToA zones. Dunno why ToA as it IS the source of most of the deflation as it is.

Its probably sunken inwith the RMT that once SE introduces other means of getting abjurations that sky and kings would be less lucrative for them, so they're trying to control these things now while they still can.

Problem is, people in this game remain stupid, when you have CORs willing to pay more for iron bullets than RNGs do silver - paying more to do less damage - somethings not right. Those that buy gil or are just plain rich in the game will pay these obviously inflated prices anyway.

And on that note, that's it, I'm f'n levelling smithing to make my own damn bullets.

Yeah they were doing the Bune and Kraken drop thing forever, but now they're starting to merc sky drops as well. Well, its nothing new actually, they're just not discreet about it now.

Keep selling. If this person is eager to make it look like they go for 60k then you can make quite a pretty penny off of it. You can still list them as 40k just incase a legit player wants to purchase some.

Well, the price of bullets depends largely on the price of the metal--most bullet sales (at least for me) do not produce any huge profit except on occasions where stock is low/empty (I usually take advantage by tacking on a nice tip). Silver is usually cheaper than iron, so the price of the bullets is also lower.

COR can't use Silver bullets, so they have to buy the Irons. The market is for different people. Comparing Silver and Iron bullet markets is like comparing (no not Apples/Oranges) Milk to Juice when you're lactose intolerant.

(1) Someone is going to pay 60K anyway. So, your 40K will be sold for 60K and thus you pocket 20K for someone's stupidity. But it doesn't stop there. No. Because now you're seen as perpetuating that problem in the eyes of the general public.

(2) The RMT, as someone said, will simply buy your 40K stacks and sell it for higher. Once they dry out the supply, they put it back for 100K or more.

So what do you do? Unfortunately, SE does not have a trade channel, like WoW does. But, you can have a reputation built up through connection and friends. Simply let the community know that you can synth their items for them if they have materials on hand for a small fee. Start a crafting LS and include many legitimate high level crafters and discuss among yourselves on how best you can serve the community. This is the only method I know of that works against RMT. As an individual, you do not stand a chance against them.

Well, I'm both RNG and COR, so the fact remains that as COR they're asking me to pay more for less damage, which really makes no sense at all. As long as I'm buying apples and oranges, if the apples don't hit as hard as the oranges, I just won't buy the apples til the price is right.
