Yah, same here. I even got asked once on my RDM if I was a gil buyer (Because I never saw you around before) But I didn't want to tell him I had a second account in case I started getting bugged about helping with KS, Sky, etc.

So I just *shrugged* and said believe what you will, I'm not in the job of convincing people of whether or not I buy gil. If anyone has ever played my two accounts and seen my mules (Legions of them) and the 6 digit gil each of them has, then they can see that their accusations have been false. But I don't trust people enough to do something stupid like that :x

Generally I think nothing of it but to comment "Cool Gear" /bow when I'm checking people. Unless it's a no subjob person with 2 astral rings I'm not likely to even speculate.

If someone does get asked and comes up with a rediculious story then the warning bells go off. People tend to get defensive and give the first explanation that comes to mind if they feel they've done something taboo.

I don't ask unless the character has opened the line of discussion or something has really gotten my attention beyond the gear itself. (Character knows nothing about farming, BCNM's exc but is using Dragon steak in the Dunes ^..^).
