I don't really see the point in carrying a bunch of items around in your bazaar for max gil, but I also don't really see any point in getting worked up about it.

I just take my time when selling or dropping things, and I don't carry around unnecessary gear - ever. Sentimental value is sweet, but it's just not for me. Everyone else is free to do as they please in that area. Doesn't bother me any.

      My bazaar contains:

      Lilith's Rod
      "Y" Egg
      "A" Egg
      "R" Egg

All at max gil. Why? They relate to my character or to me as a player (those who know me know I rarely outright say 'yes'...). What you have to realize is that for those who have max gil items in thier bazaar, they're there for a reason, usually a sentimental or otherwise important one. Why should it matter to you what they put in their bazaar? It's *thier* bazaar; they can put whatever they want in it.

I have just as many inventory issues as anyone else, and you know what I do? I slow down when I'm dropping or NPCing items. Honestly, it takes maybe a whole 20sec longer total even when clearing a full inventory.

That's not to say that I dislike that people do it, I do however know that anyone who thinks that's the "only solution" to their inventory management problem needs to slow down. They're probably the same people who accidently buy one fire crystal for 5k, etc etc...
So you're just one to assume that all of them are flaunting their gear for no reason, eh?

It can go either way. Some people do this due to not enough space and others do it to flaunt their gear to people.

I think the same, simply because anyone can use their bazaar in whatever way they feel like using it.

If someone happens to check a bazaar with a 9999999g rose then the only thing they can do is get out of that bazaar and move on, complaining about it is pointless.

I think you're reading too much into what I typed there... I didn't say or mean to imply anything about anyone flaunting anything.

I just think it's annoying as hell when it's done in an area primarily reserved for ACTUAL bazaaring of items to sell. I've seen many mules that carry only 99,999,999 items pissing enough people that (Before) used to MPK these mules (And yes, we have some of the best PK'ers that they could single these mules out without killing any others O.o )

Alas, after PK change, no one bothers to even check bazaars in Rolanberry Fields anymore due to the large number of idiots bazaaring sentimental values. It's called stroking your e-peen about some love relationship online.

Thank god the AH is more popular now...

Re: 9999999999 gil items (lol) and other stupid things players do that I question.

The reason why I have items in my Bazaar for max gil is due to my macros. As RDM every single one of my macros has a gear swap for EXP. Well if I'm soloing, I have a completely different set of gear that I use, and I don't carry this stuff unless I'm going out to solo. Last thing I want is to have 150% TP for Vorpal Blade, go to Drain and suddenly lose all of that TP because my Dark Staff just got swapped in. So depending on what I'm doing, I may have my Elemental Staves or my Errant gear in my Bazaar maxed out to prevent those swaps. (Last thing I want is all that VIT down from Errants when I'm trying to make Stoneskin last.)

If you head out to Rolanberry Fields, and /check somebody to see what they're selling, you have no idea if the item(s) they were selling didn't already sell. Leaving their maxed items left. Generally speaking I remove all those items when I'm Bazaaring, but sometimes I forget.

A number of LS's have signed items they provide their members and people Bazaar them.

What I find funny about this whole thing is how people complain about being /checked, and now people are complaining that they /checked somebody who didn't have anything they could even buy. You complain about wasting your time to check a Bazaar only to find they are "showing off" something, yet you created this thread. Go figure.

If somebody were to check me, I tell them what I'm selling. I say "Scorp Harness for sale" in my view wares box, so really, unless people state what they're going to sell, it's a crap shoot everytime.

I've noticed more and more people doing that as well Mog, but when I check somebody who has a Baggie above their head, I'm into their Bazaar before I ever see anything in their Bazaar Comment. I always see that AFTER I've rummaged through their pockets looking for somethin gto buy.

I have Dahlia maxed in my bazaar because I like the name, but I also have a few other things like a tactics manual just incase somebody wants to trade.

I keep the Love Chocolate that my hubby signed for me in mine. I only put it in when I have other stuff to sell.
I don't care what people have in their bazaars. I think they just want to show off.

God forbid people show off an 'achievement' or a memorable piece of equip or item they have to others.

I love how angry most people are getting over my post. The point of this was to point out that most people don't care what you have for sale in your bazaar for 99999999 gil. Honestly, if you aren't going to sell me something I want, then you are defeating the purpose of the bazaar. Now here comes a shocker, the meaning of the word Bazaar - a market consisting of rows of shops or stalls selling miscellaneous goods. That selling part must be why I am insane right? Because we can all sell rock salt for 999999999 gil and think "ROFL, this is great! Everyone will love seeing my thing given to me that I have in a SELLING bracket called a bazaar that I don't want to sell! LOL LOL LOL!" I personally have come across items in the past (I do crafting) that I needed and found them for sale in bazaars. I have also found the same items in bazaars that were so overpriced, it made me ignore these people for anything. Look, I have items that friends have given me, but you know what? I keep them at home. My friends know I appreciate them and I don't have to advertise my friendship.

                                Double Post Edited:
By the way, if you feel you must email me and not leave your name, please tell me why you disagree. I love hearing from 15 year olds that can't form a decent arguement that I am "a fu...ng idiot" without providing a shred of evidence why. People have opinions, and just because I don't agree with yours, does not make me an idiot. An idiot is someone who cannot defend their position and must rely on their feelings instead. So please, if you want to debate my point, put it in a logical, well thought out form that I won't dismiss because you don't know how to argue. Thank you.
