Please please please revise your thread topic! Think Jeopardy. Only give your thread topic in the form of a question. Also, add more detail to the question and clean up your spelling. Making it easier for SE to read means more likelihood that your question will be answered.
Something like "Would SE consider incorporating more figure and skin color options into the character generation process?" is much clearer.
I think you raise a pretty good question. Other than mithra males (which seems to be part of the storyline), it would make sense to have more "diversity" in character selection/generation.
There are fat people in the game. They are NPCs, an adventurer wouldnt be fat.
Galkas are greyish, Mithra are almondy, Elvaan are..not white anyway. Dont see how a tarus face could be called white either. Its not like vanadiel evolved like our planet anyway. Do you expect every planet to have white, black, asian etc ppl on it?
Oh, and nothing in your post involved a question.

on-topic, (sort of) who says adventurers aren't fat?
Let's look at...oh...blackmages.
They sit on the back lines of the party, spending half their time 'resting' (Taking a nap) and they constantly eat pies, cookies, marron glace, and other sugary high-carb foods, while other adventurers deliver up the monsters to THEM to be destroyed. The only excercise they really get is running to camp, and half the time a white mage carries them halfway there (Teleport-X)
For all that matter, what about the whitemage? How many spells have they developed to save themselves having to run across the world? Oh yes, six, in comparison to the puny two that blackmages came up with. And a high percentage of whitemages have those two spells as well! And sure, the blackmage might tuck into a plate of marron glace once every three (game) days, but...whitemages eat cookies...so many of them...constantly....munch munch munch there in the back lines...and they spend as much time on their bums as the blackmages, almost. Either that or mushroom stew, which I hear is unbearably high-cholesterol...
Whitemages are probably well-padded as well.
And of course there's always the summoners...I'm not going to say they're lazy but they ARE the ones who figured out how to poof another creature into thin air and order them to do all the work for them. I mean at least beastmasters have to go LOOKING for their servants.
And paladins, well...they sit and take a smoke break whenever they can too, and mostly just form an impenetrable wall between the monster and the mages. I can see a rotund size being an advantage here, not exactly a vice. Although all the heavy armor they carry around...of course, maybe that makes up for not usually weilding a heavy weapon. So probably not exactly FAT, but certainly beefy.
Adventurers I can see not being fat:
Warrior (Sterioid king. Run away!)
Theif (Scrawny. Think how many calories one session of Flee burns.)
Darkknight (Bony and sallow. Probably doesn't eat enough.)
Ranger (Dunno why, but I imagine Rangers having a beautifully atheletic body)
Beastmasters (Gotta keep the figure. Who finds a fat slob charming?)
Redmages (Too vain to let themselves fall into the mage-trap)
Monk (young bhudda, befor his figure got away from him. Maybe a 75 monk would have a bit of pudge.)
Yes, it was inspired by the Simpsons

The original post was so short and spastically written, I have to wonder if it was a joke. Nevertheless, I'm going to humor it with a response.
The color of a person's skin in the real world is determined by their race. In Vana'diel, race changes overall appearance; not just the color of their skin. Having multiple skin colors would be redundant. Galka have white skin, Mithra have tan skin, and the remaining races all have normal skin tone. Still, at one point, you learn that Tavnazian Elvaan have a darker skin tone than mainland Elvaan.
There are fat NPC's in the game. You've probably seen them in taverns with their huge pot belly and sailor's cap. Even Cid has a bit of a pot belly. There are no fat adventurers because fat people would be sitting on their couch eating popoto chips, not out killing Tiny Mandragoras.
Male Mithras exist, but they are not found in-game because they're the stay-at-home moms of Vana'diel. We don't see them because they're never out in public. I doubt Square-Enix would want to change the in-game lore after having the game out for so long. It would also piss off the people that would rather have played as a Male Mithra when they first created their character.
As far as more faces, the age-old response to this can also be a response to all your other "suggestions", if we can call them that. The PS2 has very limited memory (not to be confused with hard drive space), and as such, adding more faces and models to fill that memory would increase the already-stressed burden on the game's resources. Since the majority of worldwide FFXI players use PS2, adding special bonuses to X360 and PC users like additional faces and skin colors would ostracize the largest subsection of their userbase, which would be a silly waste considering the programming and designing resources the development of such additions would require.
There are many other MMO's out there that offer a higher degree of character customization. If the appearance of your character is really that important, you may want to look into one of them. But having ten billion different possible appearance combinations can't make up for a lackluster gaming experience.
Oh.. but you forget how many Blackmages run from mobs after they turn their claws their way, with that much running i cant see how any BLM would be fat =P

Define "normal skin tone".
I agree with the OP in that one of the weaknesses of this game is the lack of variety in charcter models. They're highly unlikely to do anything about it now, but I will definately be playing a abnormally skinned black guy in ffxi-2.
