So I was getting my items for L1 yesterday with a friend of mine helping me out, got the mold pretty easy moved onto to get the bomb coal, got that fine then went to get the parchment. Took ages but we finally got the drop! So we're both happy, and start heading back to Jeuno. Got outside and realised we hadn't waited for the item to actually go into my inventory. I was gutted and slapped myself several times. Hopefully I'll get licky on my next try.

For subjob items my inventory was full and I lotted on crab thing. I didn't know about auto-sort yet so I didn't get.

That sucked.

Ya, unfortunately, the papyrus is typically the most difficult to get ;;.

I feel for you on that one. I spent about five-six hours sitting behind Gate #2 (where the random group of people I tagged along with were going) just waiting for a pop back there. Well a friend of mine was behind Gate #3, and told me it was just sitting back there. So I quickly run out from behind Gate #2 and head over to #3.

After finally getting two more people to come along and help me get behind the gate, another person comes and sits right by the gate. Being paranoid and assuming everyone is out to get what I'm getting, I think this WHM is after the coffer too. So, I'm just sitting there nervous over getting the coffer.

Well, when my help shows up, the WHM and I go sprinting through the gate, and he runs right past the coffer and zoned to Sauromague (sp?). After getting the coffer, I zone to Sauromague to head to Jeuno, and see the WHM (along with 20 others) camping Roc.

The fact they steal my red curry. And red curry is 100k a piece on my server.

My 88 penta thrust to Maat made me cringe. The drops from Royal Jelly also made me a little sick to my stomach.

Red curry dosent even give you full beifit till your base attack is quite high your wasting ur money :p.

I'll second the RJ drops thing, it's sad when you can't even break 50k from a BCNM

What lesson did we learn here? Don't use red curry while fighting Colibris. Use something cheap, maybe mithkabobs. But other then that they are extremly easy to kill, don't link, don't agro. Basically, the perfect EXP mob.

besides the fact that they cast reflect whenever you cast magic on them. or is that lesser colibri?

Only the higher Colibri have the insta-cast reflect, lesser don't do that.
