I would have to say, my 2 favorite things would have to be Carbuncle due to his cuteness. And my Fishing apron.. just love how it looks ^^

The ability to swith jobs. It's something no other MMO has had and it's somethign that draws me to FFXI time and time again.

2. Castle Zvahl Keep zone, Castle Zvahl Keep music, and killing the Shadow Lord.

I'd say I like the storyline, but considering I often must go weeks/months between scenes...I just don't know wtf is going on. I'm at the point now where I just *click click click* through all the cutscenes.

I like being assoicated with only one name in-game, it helps me keep track of who is who.
I used to play SWG and I made a few friends that had like 3 alt accounts so they could do every craft and harvest alot + a jedi with medic/entainer to self buff. It got really confusing after a while, proubly one of the reasons I quit.

Tell me about it, in EQ you would have guilds of 120 members, and 60+ of those members would be someones alt, with only about 50% or less actual playing people. It's nice to be able to do everything on one character.

in no particular order:

1. The story(gotta love those missions)
2. being able to change jobs whenever I want without starting a new character(most MMOs make you start a new charcater)
3. Carbuncle!(I play summoner as a second main)
