Altering in Dynamis?!

    Altering in Dynamis?!

    Heya guys, My LS attempted Dynamis-Bastok tonight. Well.... First off i want to know if SE has altered dynamis... in any way. cause everything was out of place. the NM's were standing Unclaimed. Before we killed stones, and the first time stone was RIGHT at zone. 2 of them to be exact.

    I mean the past 4 runs we did everything was the same. And now its like... everything was changed. The mobs resisted sleep waaayyy too much like 65% of it. If you guys have changed it plz say so... cause this has surprised a lot of people in Fenrir. PLZ HELP and tell us what is goin on!

      goin on a run thursday to bastok. i can give you an imput on how it was.

      Nin75, Bst75. Drk61, War61, Rdm40, All other jobs are 37. All 3 starting city missions completed. All Zilart missions completed. All CoP missions completed. TouA completed.

        seriously >< everything was like... out of place. Dynamis maps and mob spawn points arent random. and everything was in a different spot tonight than it was a week ago. cause the past 4 runs were EXACTLY the same. Not a coincedence that everything was ....ed up.... this sucked... cause we were prepared to do the exact same thing like we had always done.... this was complete and utter BS.

          Resistance to attacks I would take it that's due to the change they made to mobs that check as "Impossible to Gauge". Guess we are starting to see now how that change to these mobs resistance are effecting a Mana Burn type situation? or how it can.

              Dynamis strategies heavily depend on mob locations, sac pulling and so on.

              If things were to all of a sudden change, strategies need to be redone.

                  not necc. a bad thing but when you go in prepared with a certain plan of action, telling people what to go in as and what to expect from each pull you kinda need to resort everything out if mobs aren't in the same spots.

                    Before anyone gets all up in arms about this, has anyone else been in Dynamis-Bastok since the update to confirm the changed positions?

                      Well, this has nothing to do with Dynamis, but it happened with me in the Bohyada tree at the lake camp (By the Ancient Gobbue). There were no elementals, and they never did pop at that camp. Then out of the blue, they just started appearing and wiped us.

                      Maybe that should give you insight.

                          Then revise the plan? Obviously it requires careful thought and strategy, but that's what a flexible group is for. Those occasional curveballs that the game throws at us are there to keep us on our toes.

                            My LS did Dynamis Bastok last night.

                            We had no problems with placement or popped monsters or NMs. Which is good, because we got our first clearance last night. ^_^

                              Isn't that the camp with the Bloodball leeches? I think there has always been a chance of elementals spawning there, one of the leveling guides I use says that they spawn there often. I've only partied in that location once, but I didn't see any elementals.
