It's a creature from one game, and it looks like a really small part of that one game. You might as well suggest that FFXI should have Ronso or the Viera from Tactics Advance/FFXII. It can't be compared to iconic NPCs like Cid, catcuars, or tonberries.

Now you make me wish Viera where in FFXI alogn with Mithra..... I'd love to be a bunny girl

Viera's are cool, but I would like to see Ronso's as playable avatars. I always wanted to play as a half-man, half-beast (Galkas' don't count and Mithra's are all female)

Ronsos' would make awesome DRG and DRK

As for Moomba's, I always thought they were the bastard children of Cait-Sith and a Moogle

But Moombas aren't the bad guys... they were always the good guys in FFVIII. They're the second stage of evolution from that other race, forgot what it was called, but the 'proprieter' of Balamb Garden was one. They're these huge fat whitw things with long fingers, which they take pride in or something. If they fail to become a 'Leader' they eventually transform into a Moomba...

But anyway, the only game they were really in, like someone else said, was FFVIII. They only had an extremely minor cameo role in Chocobo racing, which doesn't count for much. There are other much more prominent races that I'm surprised they didn't include, especially in FFXI... they could have very easily made the FFT world into Final Fantasy XI. They've got races like those Bunny women (Viera), the creepy guys that make great dragoons (Bangaa?), and moogles would've been playable characters! >_< Those have been recurring for at least three major 'Final Fantasy' titles: 'Final Fantasy Tactics', 'Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance', and 'Final Fantasy XII'. (Excluding Moogles, they've been present in almost every game... but you knew that.)

Come to think of it, it's possible that the alledged "FFXI-2" is FFT Online. :O
...Which would make me very happy, because I'd love to be a Moogle.

Well, I would think that Ronso and Galka have the same stats and Viera and Mithra would have the same stats too. Ronso and Galka are both powerful people. Viera and Mithra are both quick people. If Moogles were playable, they would have stats like tarus since in FF Advance, their specialty is magic.

When I think about Moombas I think as them as pets for some reason. Not like an avatar, but like a pet that you can raise into being a better fighter or whatever. Anyways, it's just my opinion.

maybe or maybe it will take place during the great war or a few ytears after FFXI ends and maybe there will be Viera so i can have a kitty on FFXI and a bunny on FFXI-2 And maybe FFXI-2 will have Moombas instead of moggles taking care of the mog houses

Yeah its not a FFXI-2 its a brand new MMO and it should/doesnt have anything to do with Final Fantasy.
