Need skillchain help

I just unlocked Samurai today and I realize that they are all about skillchains. I am not familiar with more than a few skillchains. I have tried googleing charts but I hardly understand them at all. Can anyone help me out here?

I know there's a SC chart that includes Blue Physical magic, but I can't find it atm.

Once you open the chart, take a look at the Distortion skillchain and see if this helps any.

Tachi: Enpi -> Viper Bite = Distortion
1st WS -> 2nd WS
(Opener) -> (Closer)



Even better, since you are having difficulty reading the renkei charts, do you use Mozilla Firefox?

Try http://galbadiax.com/ and see if they got something you may be able to use. You put in your weapon, and the wepon you want to SC with. Then it gives a list of what you open with, and another of what you close with. Also tells what effect it makes too.

He seems to have logged off for the night, so there you go. It works pretty well when you're figuring out what skillchains you can do with what weapon, but it doesn't work as well as a plain old chart when you're trying to figure out what jobs you can make the best skillchains with.

You'll get the hang of it, not to worry.

Just try to focus on the more useful ones.

Enpi will be used for a long time.

While knowing your SC paths are nice, Sam WS has it built in so-to-say every possible comination, which is why enpi is nice to throw out when in doubt at earily to mid lvls.

enpi can open and end distortion.

While the charts are the better way to go in the long run, I was hoping that the Skillchain calculator would allow him to better understand the chart.

And yeah, I had to log for the night, work in the morning and all.

Edit: Also the calculator doesn't currenty include physical blue and Pup attacks

My Skillchain Calculator (http://magitekarmy.com/skillchain.php) does include PUP and BLU skills, and is faster than the above ones
