Enk Bracelets vs Heca Mitts

Greetings,

I am curious as to the opinion people have about the following items and which would be "better":

Enkelados's Bracelets
+25 HP, +7 STR, -4 DEX, -4 AGI

Hecatomb Mittens
+8 HP, +7 STR, +4 DEX, +4% slow

Curretly I have Enk. However I recently aquired the abjurition for Heca. I will be using these as a Drg and Drk for WS Purposes. The cost for cursed gloves are 1.5 mil. Basically should I spend the gil for this 'god' item, or is what I have already just as good?

Go with the Hect. You'll get more crits and acc from the extra dex, and as a DRG and DRK who already hit slow, you wont really notice a +4% Slow.

Since you are using these for weapon skills and not top build, I think you should save your money. The +dex will help out penta thrust since str and dex are modifiers. When I say "help out" I mean virtually nothing to penta dmg. You are going from -4 to +4 which is an 8 point swing. But dex being a secondary mod for penta, I doubt you will see much damage increase. I have no idea what mods drk weapon skills so I cannot comment on that.

To the best of my current knowledge, DRK doesn't have any DEX modifiers for our WS, so for DRK I would go with Alkyoneus's Bracelets if you can get your hands on them, and then the Hecatomb Mittens. Pallas' may be an option as well, but these also have the DEX down that might not work so well for DRG.

So for Spinning Slash go with Pallas's Bracelets or better, and for DRG go with Hecatomb stuff. At least that's what I would try to do.

For WS...won't make a massive difference. If the bracelets cost more and you have no more melee jobs you want to level, then you could sell the bracelets, buy the skin and just use that. (And a quick www.ffxiah.com search tells me that the bracelets are 300k cheaper than the skin or the gloves on bismark.)

Personally, I'd use the bracelets just because they're level 50. They'll work for CoP, BCNMs, and they'd only be marginally worse than the hecta gloves.
