Granted, not GM offices, but if they are trying to appeal to the EU market, they should recruit GMs *from* europe.

I just don't see the need. Customer Service people don't need to live down the street from you in order to provide support.

But they do when it comes to timezones with 5 - 8 hour differences and different levels of fluency, assuming people employed in LA probably arent french or german to begin with. The odds are they are American, formally taught the language in a business manner, thats no use in an online game in my own opinion.

Besides, if they are planning on expanding their european market it will do them a lot of good, not to mention a better selection of people to employ. London is a drive away from France.

Besides. who remembers when Americans thought Japanese GMs where biased? Customers prefere locality.
